The sample packs this week comprises of a KickDrum that was recorded from the inside directly in front of the kick hammer. There are two variations, straight Kick and distort.


The Rubs were made from a recording of a typical boom mic attachment, I noticed it made some pretty horrid sounds when trying to set mics up – so it had to be the subject of a recording :)


These samples are processed with external fx added – I done two packs – one 16 bit 44.1 kHz and the other 24 bit 44.1 kHz (they contain the same samples, just different bit depths) they were recorded at 96 kHz and converted via r8brain pro.

Also while I was at it I decided to do a couple of quick loops with the samples, pretty basic beat so they chop up easy :) – one is an eight bar. While the other is 24 bars long.
